No Sale - but full marks for customer service
I can't recall the exact date but recently visited the Peugeot/Citroen showroom in Coventry Looking for my next car. I was seen by Kara McSheffrey who couldn't have been more helpful. I had a difficult specification as I wanted a plug-in hybrid but did not want too large a car. Peugeot, like most manufacturers now, seem to have dropped the PHEV option from their small and medium car ranges so I was having some difficulty. I ended up considering the 308. this was really a bigger car than I wanted but Kara was very patient and helpful. giving me all the information i needed and arranging a test drive. I very nearly went for it. The reality check came when I realised that it would qualify for the extra £400 VED. I really couldn't justify putting myself into that bracket and reluctantly decided not to proceed. I have ended up ordering a Mazda MX-30. However I can't fault Kara for her customer relations abilities. If Peugeot had built the right car I would certainly have bought one.
